Editorial Process

The editorial process consists of the following stages:

1. Submission of manuscript (only through the platform, no email submissions will be checked);

2. Initial editorial screening;

3. Assignment of reviewers;

4. Double-blind peer review;

5. Author revisions;

6. Final editorial decision;

7. Copyediting and proofreading;

8. Publication.

Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ recommendations before acceptance.

The Yearbook of the University of Economics – Varna provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).

This license allows users to:

• read and download articles free of charge;

• distribute and share the content;

• adapt and build upon the material.

PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE STATEMENT

The Yearbook of the University of Economics – Varna follows internationally recognized standards of publication ethics and good academic practice.

The editorial policy is based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Editors, reviewers, and authors are expected to adhere to ethical standards regarding:

• originality of research;

• proper citation of sources;

• avoidance of plagiarism;

• avoidance of data fabrication or falsification;

• disclosure of conflicts of interest.

Any cases of suspected misconduct will be investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines.
